Conference on OPERATIONAL RISK (Management and Measurement)

Information

 

 

The objective of the conference is bringing together European researchers and practitioners on operational risk management and measurement to discuss current research on those topics and areas where practitioners see a need for additional research.

 

  • Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
  • Linking OpRisk strategy with business strategy
  • Choosing the optimal governance structure (1st and 2nd line of defence)
  • Overcoming biases in scenario analysis for OpRisk
  • Assessing the quality of Key Risk Indicators (e. g. correlation with losses)
  • Creating incentives for comprehensive loss data collection
  • Using external loss data in the OpRisk model
  • Validating OpRisk models

Conference Submissions

 

The deadline for paper submissions has passed.

 

You are invited to register as a regular participant by 15 March 2013. Please note that the system will be automatically closed once the capacity is reached.

 

The organizers will award an outstanding research. The winner will be presented with a commemorative certificate and recognition at the conference.


 

Conference Costs

The conference fee is EUR 50 for academics and EUR 100 for practitioners. Presenters are exempt from the conference fee.

Please note that attendance at the conference is only possible with registration through the CFS web site. The online registration system is opened.

Further information about accommodation will be sent to the registered participants.

Payment

All regular participants can pay the fee online by credit card or Pay Pal account (press the button at the end of this section). You can also pay by a direct bank transfer. 

 

Upon receipt of the registration fee, the Center for Financial Studies will confirm your registration. CFS will also send you an invoice. Attendance at the conference is only possible with a confirmation of your registration.
